Match fixing
It has been known for a long time that the sport is not „clean”. The results are set before the events started. The purpose of such actions is usually to obtain financial gain. Rival teams often settle on the distribution of points, or points go to the team that needs them most. All such and similar situations are called fixed matches or shorter fixes.
Fixes are very popular, but reliable information about them is very difficult to obtain. Surely it cannot be found on public forums or blogs. It is only available to closed circles, to which not many people have access, and that are very hard to get into. Why is this so? Well, let's see what could have happened if we had a really match fixing? Certainly we would not want to talk about it and certainly we would bet big money on the fixed team or we could sell the information with good profit.
Match fixing is no longer just about punting games. It is sort of black business and we would advise you to avoid it. There is a lot of websites that boast that they have certain tips that are fixes. I suggest you don’t even consider the information they provide to be true, if the access fee is less than 500 €. In most cases they are mere scammers who, in order to attract the attention of potential customers, create unreal archives, edit inconvenient posts, decide which posts to add and which not, pretend to be several different users and present the service only in superlatives.
After a very big odds drop (in football the odds for the draw are of 1.60 sometimes which is ridiculous), it can be assumed that the event is fixed, but it is often caused by the information that came from an uncertain source, which turns out to be false.

We would like to inform that sports betting forum has been turned off indefinitely. When you log in to the betspecialists.com website now, you can observe that the top menu has been changed a bit. There is no 'forum' button in it. More about forum you can read in this article.

The decision made is not final of course. The reason the forum is off is that administrator wanted to avoid any not needed messages which were recently strongly posted and flooded forum.

Another handicap is sort of a fraction handicap (e.g. AH ± 0.5, ± 1.5 AH, AH ± 2.5, etc.). In this case, we cannot count on any stake refund. There are only two possible options: victory or defeat. Playing AH -0.5 means as if we bet on the team who’s going to win (1), and the AH +0.5 is a double chance (X2). To win the bet, the picked team has to win by such numbers of goals that, after deduction of the handicap, they are still up front.
The last type of Asian handicap is a ‘quartile’ handicap. That is conjunction of two handicaps so there may be several different outcomes such as full win, half win, half loss and the whole bet loses. Quartile most common handicaps are: AH ± 0.25, ± 0.75 AH, AH ± 1.25, etc.
Putting money on sports spread betting has a lot of advantages when we have good sports betting tips. These are:
- Refund of all or part of the stake, depending on the handicap;
- The probability of win increased from 33.3% (1x2) to 50% (12);
- Far lower bookmakers margins;
